Dear all,
Another information
that might be useful for the organisation
of the workshop and tutorial :
the psi-k network funds joint "CECAM + psi-k"
workshops and tutorials, and seem to be
in lack of proposals for 2003, see
the e-mail below. I have talked to Volker Heine in July, and
he appreciates very much the FSAtom initiative, so there is
a real possibility here. The complete call for proposals is in :

From the chairman of Psi-k
TO:- The whole Psi-k community
=========================
ABOUT:- Ideas for workshops and tutorials next year
==========================================
We hope to have some money next year, but NO proposals for workshops have
been received so far!
This is the time to remind you to think about good topics for workshops in
2003 in your subject area. It may not be necessary to organise the
workshop yourself, but to stimulate one or two reliable younger (or
older?) people and then to help them with suggestions and contacts.
WE HAVE EXTENDED THE DEADLINE TO 15 SEPTEMBER, which is the same as for
CECAM.
Please see the detailed instructions in the June Psi-k Newsletter, noting
in particular
(a) it must be submitted as a simple email file like this one, i think
called an ASCII file, NOT latex nor any kind of attachment.
(b) the suggestion about how to pay for some American participants
(c) the advantage of joint application to Psi-k and Cecam.
Well, I hope you have a good vacation, but please don't forget about
workshop proposals.
All the best,
Yours
Volker Heine
