From xavier at tddft.org Thu May 8 12:48:55 2008 From: xavier at tddft.org (Xavier Andrade) Date: Thu, 8 May 2008 13:48:55 +0200 (CEST) Subject: [Octopus-announce] Octopus 3.0.1 Message-ID: Dear users, We are pleased to announce our latest stable release: Octopus 3.0.1. This version includes several bug fixes over our previous release Octopus 3.0.0. As usual you can find the source code and binary packages for this release on our web page: http://www.tddft.org/programs/octopus/ There are two important bugs in 3.0.0 that are now fixed: * When using the aetrs or exp_mid time evolutions methods an error in the extrapolation could produce instabilities in the propagation. The default propagator etrs was not affected. * If octopus was compiled with MPI and libnbc support (the default for most platforms) data corruption and wrong results could be obtained, specially if the OpenMPI library was used. A more detailed list of changes can be found in the Changes page: http://www.tddft.org/programs/octopus/wiki/index.php/Changes Best regards, The Octopus development team
