Modifying the Perl script to take care of this is not a big issue, 
I know. I'm more concerned with the xillions of files we produce 
with this. If we do the change, then I would vote for a clear namespacing
which reflects also the dependency of the input files on each other

 01-2dbox.test
 01-2dbox-01-gs.inp
 01-2dbox-02-hartree.inp
 01-2dbox-03-spin.inp

 02-restart.test
 02-restart-01-gs.inp
 02-restart-02-restart_gs.inp
 02-restart-03-td.inp
 02-restart-04-restart_td.inp
