  Hi Xavier,

  This is the version of gfortran

  GNU Fortran (GCC) 4.3.0 20080123 (experimental) [trunk revision 131755]

  Also in trac several compilers complained about it! I don't remember
which ones, but in the trac web page you can find it. With the changes
of Alberto, there is no extra problem.

  BTW, there is still this error in the sparc:

 module c_pointer_m
       ^
"../../../src/basic/types.F90", Line = 47, Column = 8: ERROR: The
compiler has detected errors in module "C_POINTER_M".  No module
information file will be created for this module.

       c_ptr,      &
       ^
"../../../src/basic/types.F90", Line = 58, Column = 8: ERROR: "C_PTR"
has been use associated from module "ISO_C_BINDING" and at least one
more module.  It must not be referenced.

  Any idea on how to solve it?
