Hi Joseba,

When I try to run this revision on a Cray XT4 with MPICH2 and PGI compiler,
most tests fail saying:

aborting job:
Fatal error in PMPI_Allgather: Invalid buffer pointer, error stack:
PMPI_Allgather(902): MPI_Allgather(sbuf=0x2595940, scount=4, MPI_INTEGER,
rbuf=0x2595940, rcount=4, MPI_INTEGER, comm=0xc4000018) failed
PMPI_Allgather(875): Buffers must not be aliased. Consider using
MPI_IN_PLACE or setting MPICH_NO_BUFFER_ALIAS_CHECK
[NID 02558] 2011-10-19 19:04:16 Apid 21227820: initiated application
termination

r8399 runs fine.
