  Hi,

Your problem is related to a bug in version 1.4 (and that was very
recently corrected in the cvs version). Apparently, the occupation
analysis crashes. This is very little used option provided to analise
the outcome of a TD run with lasers. However, the information it outputs
is so complicated, that I guess was never really used. So, to make
octopus work, just remove from the input file all references to
TDOutputOccAnalysis or TDOccupationalAnalysis. Just one advise: octopus
has reasonable defaults for most input options, so you can keep you
input files to a bare minimum. In my opinion this simplifies quite a lot
using the code. For example, my input files are rarely more than 10
lines long. The Na2 input file given is just meant as a *reference*.

  hope this helped,
  miguel
