[Octopus-users] CVS version compilation

Hi All,

I tried to compile the CVS version doing firstly

autoreconf -si

as explained in this list some time ago.

Unfortunately, it does not work on my system and the error
message is

warning: macro `AM_PATH_GSL' not found in library
configure.ac:168: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PATH_GSL
If this token and others are legitimate, please use
m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
autoreconf: /usr/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1

I am running FC3, and I think I have all the autotools installed.
I have also installed GSL on my system, but not as root. Is this
the reason for the missing macro definition ? Which path I
should define as AM_PATH_GSL manually and then retry to configure
and compile CVS ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Cheers

Ioannis
