FFTW is indeed a C library, but i has a small fortran part (the
interface). In any case, if the code crashes immediately (where exactly?
can you run with DebugLevel = 30?) the problem must be somewhere else...

Where did you have to do that replacement? I thought we had no more '//'
lying around in the code...
