Hi
I installed the .deb Octopus package and tried to start learning
it. However, I run into two problems:
-libgl0 seems to be no longer available for the sid Debian
distribution (this is my laptop and not a production machine). In
its place I find libgsl01dbl. Installation fails since it doesn't
find the package it expects.
I installed libgsl0 from etch and afterwards from source and
Octopus doesn't complain anymore.
-However, when running the second
example from the tutorial page--"Hellium atom"--Octopus doesn't
finish the calculation and throws the following error message:
Calculation started on 2007/12/12 at 19:12:09
************************** Calculation Mode
************************** Input: [CalculationMode = gs]

^2)^(1/2)

octopus: parser_f.c:209: oct_parse_block_end__: Assertion
`block_name!=((void *)0)' failed. Aborted
Could somebody provide any hints about this? If possible, I'd like
to get away with the .deb package to keep everything visible to my
package manager. Otherwise I'll try to install from source.
Kind regards
Jose
