Hi Chenwei,

Unfortunately we haven't tested octopus with Sun fortran compilers because
we don't have access to such a system. I have managed to compile Octopus on
Solaris/Sparc using the gfortran compiler, I had to fix some bugs and
gnuisms and the resulting binary was very slow.

All the changes I made are available in octopus 2.1rc1 so you should try
that version. You will also need to install gnu coreutils, gnu grep and
maybe other gnu utils. If you show us the errors you are getting, maybe we
can help you to solve them.
