[Octopus-users] OpenDX: dxexec hangs when accessed through cygwin

Dear all,

I installed OpenDX on a Fedora Core 6 platform and then tried to run it via
cygwin from my Windows laptop. The software opens properly if I invoke 

dx -uionly

but the program hangs when I launch the server. The cywin window
repetitively lists the following error message:

WinLoadCursor - Windows requires 32x32 cursor but X requires 39x26. 

I have tried removing and re-installing the software to no avail. Any
guidance would be much appreciated.
