Dear Xavier,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Yes, I installed the octopus to the prefix I specified
(/home/users/yasumitsu/OCTOPUS).
In ths directory, there are four directory ("/bin", "/include", "/lib"
and "/share").
When I type "/home/users/yasumitsu/OCTOPUS/bin/octopus", the next
message come:
*** Fatal Error (description follows)
Cannot open variables file: /opt/etsf/share/octopus/variables
And, I type "set OCTOPUS_SHARE=/home/users/yasumitsu/OCTOPUS/share/" to
set the OCTOPUS_SHARE variable.
Then I type "echo $OCTOPUS_SHARE", the message
"/home/users/yasumitsu/OCTOPUS/share/" came.
So I type again "/home/users/yasumitsu/OCTOPUS/bin/octopus", but yet the
next message has come:
*** Fatal Error (description follows)
Cannot open variables file: /opt/etsf/share/octopus/variables
I want to hear your advice more. Please help me.
Is there a possibility of program bug?
Sincerely,
Yasumitsu Suzuki
