[Octopus-users] TDDFT

Hi, all.

Sorry for all the lousy questions. I'm new to this theory, and new to OCTOPUS.

I have been reading a few papers about TDDFT.  All these papers are talking about TDDFT for N-electron systems.  It seems to me TDDFT is a theory for systems with  N-charged particles with  same charge and same mass, for example N electrons with same mass and same negative charge.  

What if  a system is of N particles  but with different mass and charges ( both positive and negative),  can TDDFT describe such systems? or There has some similar theory can handle such systems?
