Hi everyone,

When trying to install the rpm Chemistry extensions onto a laptop running openSuSe 11.2 this error pops up:

Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: error: Failed dependencies:
    dx is needed by dx-cmsp-2.0.4-33.1.i586.

I had already installed an rpm version of dx and its development version before that. This package (dx) was working very well until recently. Now I get an error

/usr/bin/dx: line 1643: /usr/share/dx/bin_linux/startupui: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/dx: line 1643: exec: /usr/share/dx/bin_linux/startupui: cannot execute: No such file or directory

when trying to run dx. If I type "whereis dx" on the comman line, I get the following output:

dx: /usr/bin/dx /usr/lib/dx /usr/bin/X11/dx /usr/include/dx /usr/share/dx /opt/dx/bin/dx /usr/share/man/man1/dx.1.gz

Actually, ~/bin_linux/startupui does not exist. Can anyone please help?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Nkululeko Nokwara.
