Transiciones de fase en suspensiones coloidales asimétricas

Abstract: In this work we study the behavior of the osmotic pressure and its concavities for asimetric coloidal suspensions. The method we used is the suggested one by the seminal works of Debye and Hückel. This work predicts an interesting phenomenon, that is to say, that is possible to exhibit phase transitions whenever it is fulfilled ξ > 4/v, where ξ is the value of saturation of the electrical potential in the surface of the colloidal sphere and v is the magnitude of the electrical valence of coions.
